DeWitt Youth Football is more than a sports program; it’s a community. Community volunteers and families come together to create a positive and safe environment where our young athletes can grow on and off the field.

Dewitt Youth Football
The DeWitt Youth Football Program provides a safe, structured and development‑focused football experience for athletes in Kindergarten through 6th grade. Our program is built on teamwork, sportsmanship, skill development and community pride; giving every athlete the opportunity to learn, grow, and compete in a positive environment.
K-2ND FLAG
Our K–2 Flag Football division introduces young athletes to the fundamentals of football in a non‑contact, confidence building setting. Players learn basic skills such as running plays, teamwork, communication and game awareness; all while having fun and staying active. Flag Football focuses on:
- Skill development
- Safe, non‑contact play
- Teamwork and sportsmanship
- Building confidence and coordination
3RD-6TH TACKLE
Our 3rd–6th Grade Tackle Football division provides a structured, safety‑focused introduction to full‑contact football. Athletes learn proper technique, conditioning and game strategy under the guidance of trained volunteer coaches.
The program emphasizes:
- Safe tackling techniques
- Strength and conditioning appropriate for youth athletes
- Team strategy and positional skills
- Leadership, discipline, and teamwork
All players participate in a required preseason conditioning period to ensure readiness and safety before entering padded practices and games.
